Bethany Way

Hello, I’m Bethany Way, and it’s a pleasure to meet you!  I was born and raised in Walterboro, SC and now sell real estate in Columbia, SC and all of its surrounding areas:  Irmo, Chapin, Lexington, Lake Murray, West Columbia, downtown Columbia, Southeast/Fort Jackson, Cayce, Northeast Columbia, and the Blythewood area.  I come to Capital City Realty with over 7 years of real estate experience, having helped over 200 buyers and sellers with their real estate transactions during my career.  My work with a home builder for several years allows me also to be a new construction specialist.  I enjoy working with all buyers and sellers, but I especially love to introduce a first-time buyer to their very first home!  It’s so exciting to help a buyer with their first big emotional and financial transaction.  I believe home ownership is an emotionally significant and financially essential part of the American Dream that we should all enjoy!

I am a Magna Cum Laude alumna of the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business where I earned my International Business Management degree and also had the pleasure of attending the South Carolina Honor’s College there at USC.  I enjoy Gamecock football, basketball, and baseball.  I love music, traveling, reading good books, enjoying the company of my friends and family, and of course good coffee, good wine, and good food!  Exercise, yoga, and healthy food are also some of my enjoyable past times. 

  
 I’m the proud Momma of two fur baby boys that I adopted from local pet rescue agencies.  Greyson was my first feline baby and was adopted from Pets Inc in West Columbia.  I knew it would be furever when I saw his bright green eyes!  Nico I adopted from Pawmetto Lifeline, and he’s my 4 month Shepherd/Boxer mix puppy.  I think he might have some deer in him, because he sure looks like Bambi when he sleeps!  They put smiles on my face every day.
