You CANNOT do any better than Donna Attaway.  We had a complicated move from Connecticut due to my wife and I working different schedules.   Donna was our realtor who, from the moment we met her, made us feel at ease.  We spent a whole weekend scouting out possibilities.  After we were done, we asked to see three more houses before flying back to Connecticut and Donna made it happen overnight.  She went out of her way to get us all the information upfront and guided us in our choices of homes.  Throughout the process, she acted as our representative at every inspection without being asked.  After we bought the house, Donna was there to help my wife move in, and provided valuable and timely assistance in locating and setting up services to the new house.  She is a PHENOMENAL realtor and went out of her way and beyond to help during this stressful time.  It was luck that we contacted Donna, but it was Donna that we chose to stay with and will choose to work with again in future realty endeavors.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review as a reflection of my experience in working with Mrs. Donna Attaway.  As my agent, she was also my mentor in going through the process of purchasing a new home in Elgin, South Carolina.  On Tuesday, October 25, 2011 one day after my 65th birthday, we had closing for the new home.  As I look back over the 5 months involved in finding and purchasing this home, there are several words that come to mind that I would use to describe Donna’s work.  The first word is “professional.”  She knew what she was required to do, but she also treated my wife and I with respect, even though we were often clueless as to what the next step was.  Another word is “thorough!”  She always made it a point to see that all the necessary paperwork was completed, or that the proper information got to the correct person on time, and then would follow-up to be sure it actually happened.  And finally the word “Friend” comes to mind.  Although she never lost sight of the fact that this was business and that she was our agent, she also, through the course of time, became someone we could call friend.  We knew she was someone we could trust and count on and that’s what friends are. From the first contact until the closing day, our respect for Donna has only grown.  Would I recommend another friend of mine to her as a client?  The answer is a resounding “Yes.”  My wife and I are so glad that we made that first call to Mrs. Donna Attaway, and I hope many others will receive that same blessing.

My first experience with Donna Attaway was when my husband and I were looking to sell our starter home in Old Shandon.  We were looking for something more suited to a growing family and I also required a swimming pool.  Donna helped us list our house and within three days we had a contract!  Being new to home buying/selling, she walked us through each step from inspections, appraisals and addendums.  In addition to listing our house, Donna helped us search the midlands for the perfect home that fit my requirements and our budget.  She spent many hours helping us find the right house with an awesome swimming pool.  About four years later I found myself having to sell my mother’s home. I called Donna and was so relieved when she agreed to list it, especially considering it was located in Newberry.  When we listed the house it was not too long before we accepted a contract that did not work out. We relisted the house again after considering other options, and Donna once again took this project under her wing. Once again we accepted a contract and closed the deal!  I could not have gotten through this with anyone else.  I would recommend Donna Attaway to anyone that needs a dedicated, hardworking, and caring person to help them sell/buy their home.  Looking back, the first time I called Donna I imagined I was calling a realtor, now I think of her as family.
