Earlewood
Earlewood is a downtown neighborhood that was established in 1910. Earlewood has more than 1000 homes and is one of the largest Downtown Columbia SC neighborhoods. It is located north of Downtown and surrounds Sunset Blvd, River Drive, and North Main Street. Earlewood is convenient to USC, The Vista, and all of Downtown Columbia.
North Main Street is currently (April 2009) in the early stages of a streetscaping project. The project is expected to be complete sometime in 2011. Earlewood has a community organization, ECCO, that represents the residents of Earlewood.
