Lexington is located in the central part of South Carolina, west of Columbia. Lexington, SC has more than 15,000 residents. It is the second-largest town in the Columbia, SC area. The SCE&G Park has a beach for swimming, a snack bar and many picnic areas. Shelters are available with reservations. Residents must swim at their own risk because there is no life guard.
